Instant Regret

Instant Regret

Brewed delight before me,
To caffeinate my corpse,

Magic bean, voracious queen,

You kick me like a horse,

Jittered Jaws a-chatter
By roasted, ground delight,
And yet you thief, I’ll feel the grief
Of not a wink this night,

Still I’ll come and suckle

And be warmed by your teat,

An addict’s mind will always find
A way to once more meet,

So it seems this poem
Has wandered off its track,

Into the brush where ticks and crooks are liable to attack,

Focus, come on, focus,

It’s why I drank this brew,

But every line, an error sign,

Refresh to start anew,

Alright, listen, bastard,

I’m the boss in here,

Put down the knife, give back my life,

It’s my turn, now, to steer,

Palpitations, fiend, oh really,

That’s your dirty trick?

Cramping gut, deceitful butt
And joy, queasily sick

Some coffee should always,

Stay inside its jar,

Rot in peace, you faecal grease,

I bid thee au revoir!
